Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley one of the best-known and wealthiest Reggae singers was born on February 26, 1976, in Falmouth Jamaica. He sang in Shottas together with another vocalist Wyclef. Ky-Mani was signed to Shang Records for his 1996 debut album, Like Father Like Son album and songs like Judge Not (with Patra), Dear Dad", (which was the number one British reggae album chart), Who The Cap (remix), Sensimelia and others all contributed to the increasing recognition for the new reggae of his generation. Ky-Mani and Praswell who are members of the Fugees joined together in 1997 to record Avenue which was a cover of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley appeared in Midem (international music showcase) during its time in Miami in the very first time. In Midem's Cameo Theatre Marley performed a performance that was broadcast live on the Caribbean News Agency to 36 countries. Marley's name was soon the focus of a bid war.
