Ari Lennox

Courtney Shanade Salter (born March 26 1991) better known by her professional title Ari Lennox is an American musician and singer from Washington, D.C. She is the first female artist to be affiliated with J. Cole's label Dreamville Records. On the 21st of October, 2016, she released Pho, her debut EP under the Dreamville Records label. This was when she first gained recognition. Shea Butter Baby her debut album was released on May 7, 2019. Ari Lennox started uploading her music on the internet in 2012 as she dropped her first mixtape called Five Finger Discount and debut EP Ariography in 2013. In 2014 she continued to upload her music via the internet including her independently released single Bound. In 2015, she appeared on Omen's Elephant Eyes album on Sweat released on the 21st of July. J. Cole asked her to work with him on Rihanna's references. Then, later in the season, the music was circulating around Dreamville. Then, in December of 2008 it was announced that Rihanna had contracted with Dreamville Records. Backseat is a song that she recorded with Cozz on the album collaboratively titled Revenge of the Dreamers II. The 21st of October, 2016, her debut EP was released titled Pho. Ari Lennox appeared in J. Cole's Change track, and performed on the 4 Your Eyez Only Tour 2017. In 2018 she went on to be a guest on two tracks with her label-mates EarthGang and EarthGang on Nothing but the Best and Bas on Icarus. Ari Lennox, on the 16th of July in 2018, released her first single "Whipped Cream" from Shea Butter Baby. The music video to accompany it was released on September 5th. Then, in November, she released the singles 40 Shades of Choke & Grampa. She then released on November 13 two new singles called No One and pedigree. Shea Butter Baby is a song that she performed alongside Cole on Creed II's soundtrack on the 16th of November. The track was released as a stand-alone single in February 2019, to coincide with the release of her debut album. In February the music video for this track debuted. The song has received over 3 million YouTube views in just one week. In December of 2018 she performed on the From East Atlanta With Love Tour featuring 6LACK.

Ky-Mani Marley one of the best-known and wealthiest Reggae singers was born on February 26, 1976, in Falmouth Jamaica. He sang in Shottas together with another vocalist Wyclef.
